Belgrade, April 10, 2022 – Only a week is left before the start of the Serbia Open 2022. The best tennis players, with Novak Đoković at the helm, more than 8,500 fans, a fan village offering different activities, planting of more than 35,000 seedlings on 80 hectares across Serbia – are just some of the novelties tennis lovers will be able to experience at the courts of the TC “Novak” from April 17-24.

A real gift for the visitors will be free-of-charge tickets for first day of the qualifiers, on Sunday, April 17, which will also serve as an opportunity to provide support to players trying to secure their chance to play in the tournament’s main draw. “We have seven days left before the start of the Serbia Open, the most important tennis tournament in the region, which will host some of the key tennis players in the world once again this year.
Once again this year, we have also demonstrated our great ambitions and high criteria we apply when it comes to the organisation of the tournament and I’m pleased to see that everything is advancing according to the plan. We will do our best to show our utmost dedication to players once again, to make them feel welcome and comfortable the best we can. We have also prepared various surprises for the fans. I am especially glad that we have had the opportunity to introduce major novelties this year and to raise the bar to the next level in terms of to the organisation of the tournament.

The tournament’s draw will take place on Saturday, April 16. A list of Wild Card players will also be announced.

All matches will be broadcast by RTS and Arena sport’s TV channels whereas all tennis lovers have at their disposal two types of entrance tickets – tickets for the matches at the Centre Court, and tickets for the fan village and matches played on the courts No. 1 and No. 2.

One tree per each ticket sold will be planted in towns across Serbia and all tennis lovers who want to watch top tennis players at the courts of the “Novak” Tennis Centre can purchase their tickets via the tournament website www.serbiaopen.org and the web portal www.tickets.rs.
