Rublev is perfectly aware of the fact that tomorrow he will be facing not only Novak Đoković but the audience as well. However, he does not mind, because he has had their support during all his matches this week.
“I’ve enjoyed my time in Belgrade and the tournament all week. Spectators cheered me on from the first to the last point and that was very nice. It’s an incredible feeling to be able to play with spectators on the stands again. It’s the sort of support one could only wish for. This week has been incredible. Naturally, I know they will support Novak more in the final. It’s only natural. Đoković is at home, this is his tournament, his town and it’s only normal to have tennis fans on his side,” Rublev said with a smile.
