The Belgrade Open is not only the sporting event of the year in Belgrade, this is a tournament that also has an important humanitarian character.
It is precisely in the segment of humanity that everyone is involved, starting from the organizers, players, sponsors and volunteers.
For every ace served, the tournament organizers, headed by the tournament manager Djordje Djokovic, promised to plant ten trees.
Trees are the lungs of the Planet Earth, and thanks to the tennis players, who have already served 500 aces at the Belgrade Open, five thousand trees have been born, which will be planted all over Serbia.
This is not the first time that the Belgrade Open and the tournament organizers carry out this action. Owing to the 2022 Serbia Open tournament, Belgrade received 36,000 new seedlings.
Given that there are still three days left until the end of the tournament, there is no doubt that the number of new trees will increase.
