Dusan Lajovic is a Serbian tennis player currently ranked 75th on the ATP list. However, his highest ranking was 23rd, which he achieved in 2019. That same year, he reached the final of the Masters 1000 tournament in Monte Carlo, where he was defeated by Italian player Fabio Fognini. He made his ATP debut in 2010 in Belgrade and achieved a major career victory four years ago by defeating Dominic Thiem, who was ranked as the world’s 5th player at the time. Lajovic, along with his teammates from the Serbian national team, won the ATP Cup in 2020 by defeating Spain in the final. He claimed his first ATP trophy at the Umag tournament by defeating Hungarian player Balázs in the final. Over the past two years, he has participated in both Serbia Open tournaments, as well as the Belgrade Open. He also had great success last year, winning his second career title by defeating Andrey Rublev in the final of the Srpska Open in Banja Luka.
