Denis Shapovalov is a Canadian tennis player, a former world number 10, and the owner of one ATP title from the 250 Series. The young Canadian’s junior career indicated that he would achieve great results in professional tennis—he was the second-ranked junior in the world and the Wimbledon champion. His best result in his professional career came at Wimbledon in 2021 when he lost in the semifinals to Novak Djokovic. At the ATP Masters in Montreal in 2017, he achieved the biggest victory of his career by defeating Rafael Nadal in the round of 16.
