As many as 86 aces were served during the qualifying part of the Belgrade Open tournament in the Belgrade Arena. As the tennis tournament in Belgrade raises environmental awareness this year too, 860 trees have been purchased after the first matches, which will be planted throughout Serbia after the tournament.

As a reminder, this will continue the action started at the Serbia Open tournament in 2022, when, thanks to the “One Card – One Tree” campaign, an incredible 36,000 seedlings of plane trees and red oak were planted at more than 120 locations in Serbia, which was the largest reforestation campaign in Serbia in the last 20 years.

It is clear that the qualifying day of the tournament promises a greener Serbia, and we are sure that by the end of the tournament the number of new trees will be impressive.
