Everything beautiful comes to an end. However, there is no need to regret it, because Belgrade will definitely host the Belgrade Open for a long time in the years to come, as announced by tournament director Djordje Djokovic.
This year’s tournament will certainly be mentioned as one of the most spectacular ones, at least until the next gathering in the Arena.
With fantastic visual effects, dancers who warmed the palms of the audience, even better tennis between Shapovalov and Medjedovic, the curtain came down on a tournament that justified all expectations, not only of the Belgrade audience, but also that of the guests, executives of the ATP.
Everything that was seen in Belgrade belongs to the best international tournaments. The Belgrade Open has nothing to envy not only tournaments from the 250 category, but also those in much higher categories.
The arrival of Novak Djokovic, who handed out the prizes to the finalists, added weight to the tournament in the capital of Serbia.
